A collection of colorful children's art books is spread out, with a banner reading "150+ Books for Art Class!" above them.
.

The books on this blog post are all children’s read-aloud books. If you are looking for How-to-Draw books, I have some suggestions on this How to Draw book list.

Although I made this huge list of art books for kids, I don’t think you should run out and spend tons of money on books right now. What I recommend doing is taking a look at some of the books and requesting them from your local public library. That way, you can see if these are books you want in your collection. Many of these books can also be found on YouTube as read-alouds. Garage sales are another place I have picked up many books.

I know there are hundreds more awesome children’s books out there that I have probably not included. This is not an exhaustive list. If you have a book you’d like me to check out, please leave a comment on this post.

A hand holds two children's art books titled "What If..." and "The Spark in You" against a pastel, star-decorated background. Text above reads, "150+ Awesome Books for Art Class!.
