Sailboats from Milk Cartons- 1st grade

Earlier I wrote a tutorial on how to make sailboats from milk cartons.

My 1st grade students have finished making their sailboats.  Here are some of their finished projects!

Three colorful miniature sailboats made from recycled milk cartons with decorated sails, perfect for 1st-grade art projects. Three colorful sailboats with vibrant sails made from various materials are displayed on a light background. These charming boats are crafted from items like milk cartons, making them perfect for a 1st grade project. Three colorful DIY sailboats with decorated sails made from straws and paper, arranged side by side on a flat surface, create a fun craft project for 1st grade. After the boats were made, the students drew pictures of their boats.  I had stuffed animals available if they wanted to draw a stuffed animal in the boat.

Four colorful, hand-drawn sailboats with various decorations float on blue waves, each with a unique flag and design, resembling creations by 1st grade artists.

Have you ever made boats with your kids?
