Hey there! I read a lot. I skim a lot. I get way too many emails from various things I subscribe to. Here are some of the cool things I’ve seen lately.
1. Daring Duct Tape: CALL FOR ART. While I have never created anything from Duct Tape, I know that some art teachers have created some amazing projects with their students. I read an article about high school students who made prom dresses from duct tape. How cool would it be to have your student’s creations in this new book called Daring Duct Tape? I DARE you to submit something. Let me know if you do have duct tape artwork to submit.. I’d love to see what you have done with your classes!
2. NAEA Convention Highlights. Did you miss the national art ed convention like I did? Did you know that if you are a member, you can still access the presentation handouts and videos? I know what will be keeping me busy this summer!
3. 100 Things to Draw. Don’t know what to draw today? Check this list.
4. iPad App Reviews from Art Room 104.. some day when I get an iPad I will have to try these out.
