Fun Finds: Two Collage Books

I found two new collage books that I thought were pretty cool!

If you know me, you might know that I love stickers! The first book I found is called the Antiquarian Sticker Book: Over 1000 Exquisite Victorian Stickers. (Amazon affiliate links have been used at no extra cost to you.)

I made a video flip through of this book so you can see all the cool stickers inside.

The next book I discovered is brand-new, just published. It is called Extraordinary Things to Cut Out and Collage by Maria Rivans. The beginning of this book has 17 pages of introduction, inspiration and techniques. The rest of the book has over 1500 images to cut out. The pages are a smooth and pretty good quality in my opinion. I can’t wait to start cutting out images and gluing them to my art journal.

Here are some of the pages inside:

What do you think? Do you have any good collage books you like to use?

Those are fantastic! I am making a ton of mixed media collage postcards right now and those would certainly help me out! Of course I have a huge stack of old National Geographics to use and I don’t think I’ll get through them all anytime soon. It’s actually been fun to discover what I can do with what I have already. I’m almost through 177 postcards to my students, but I have more in store after! Thanks for these great ideas!

  3. Wow, our elementary-aged children love collages! I had no idea books like this existed. I’m going to order one. Thanks for sharing!

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
