Googly Eyed Sticker Monsters

Silly Googly Eyed Monsters

With Halloween coming, this is an especially fun open-ended project for little kids.  I did this with kids up to grade 3 and they were super excited to come up with their own monsters.

Supplies needed (Amazon affiliate links used):

Handouts for inspiration:  Monster Dice Drawing and Examples of Monsters

This is a real simple introduction and set-up. First, pass out googly eyes or eye stickers.

Googly Eyes

Allow students to choose papers and drawing materials.  Pass out monster inspiration handouts.  Students stick or glue eyes on to their paper.

Googly Eyes

Use pencils to draw a monster, using inspiration from the handouts and ideas from imagination.

Use markers or crayons to color in the monsters.

We had colored sand out for the last project we did and some of the students put sand on their monsters.
